Ashley Johnson is the Founder/Executive Director of The Pivot Path, a transformative program she launched in September 2023. As Executive Director, Johnson is involved in every aspect of the program, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for students. Drawing from her own experience as an adult learner, she understands the importance of building a community that rallies behind its members and encourages their success. Her proudest accomplishment so far is starting The Pivot Path’s first class in January 2024 and celebrating the program’s inaugural graduating class in October 2024. In addition to her leadership at The Pivot Path, Johnson serves on the Montgomery Mann Museum and Zoo Board and the Samaritan Counseling Board. Through her work, she is dedicated to helping students achieve their GED credentials and contributing to the growth of the local workforce, making a meaningful impact in the community.

• Key to Success: Being authentically me. I’ve learned that when I fully show up as me I operate from a space of confidence and integrity great things attract to me.
• Guilty Pleasure: eating (edible) chocolate chip cookie dough out of the container and indulging in a good Netflix movie.
• High School Superlative: I pivoted from HighSchool in 11th grade.
• Childhood Aspirations: I wanted to become a Psychologist.
• First Job: Bagger at Winn-Dixie
• Best Advice: The best advice I’ve received is based on Proverbs 3: 5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean to your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.”
• Biggest Influence Personally & Professionally: I’d say that my relationship with Jesus has been a game changer in my personal and career growth. My mom is also one of my biggest influences in my career growth.
