Barry Glazer Robinson

Barry Glazer Robinson serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Project Manager at Robinson and Associates Architecture, Inc., a firm he joined in 2012 and where he has served in his current role for several years. In his position, Robinson oversees project management, client relations, and business development, remaining involved in every phase of a project from start to finish. His responsibilities include writing proposals, responding to requests for qualifications, coordinating design and construction efforts, and closing out projects.

Robinson considers his greatest career accomplishment to be leading and delivering impactful civic and community-focused projects—such as community centers, libraries, and public facilities—that directly serve residents and strengthen neighborhoods across Alabama.

Robinson is actively involved in the community, serving as President of the Mayor’s Young Professional Council for the City of Montgomery and as a member of the Architectural Review Board and the Board of Adjustments. He is also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., where service, leadership, and community uplift are core values.

Key to Success: Consistency, accountability, and a commitment to service. I believe success comes from doing quality work, building trust, and staying grounded in purpose.

Guilty Pleasure: Saying I’m going to the gym every day but somehow never quite making it there.

High School Superlative: Class Clown.

Childhood Aspirations: I knew early on that I wanted to work in the construction field. My father is an architect, so I followed in his footsteps and developed a passion for the construction and design industry.

First Job: Coming into the office with my father when I was around six or seven years old, learning the basics of architecture and the construction industry firsthand.

Best Advice: Do right even when no one is watching. Your name means everything—keep your reputation clean.

Biggest Influence Personally & Professionally: My family, along with close friends and a strong network of supportive people. Their encouragement and belief in me have been instrumental in supporting my growth and my many entrepreneurial ventures.
