Caroline Mathews Campbell serves as an Interior Designer for Jim Mathews Builder, a role she assumed in March 2021. In her role, Campbell oversees all interior and exterior selections for homes built in Pike Road, Auburn, and Lake Martin. For custom homes, she works closely with clients to guide them through every design selection, coordinates finishes with project managers and builders, obtains quotes for custom materials, and conducts walkthroughs to ensure designs are executed accurately. She also collaborates with architects on new home plans and maintains strong relationships with vendors to stay informed on the latest materials, products, and industry trends.
Campbell’s proudest career accomplishments include leading the design, finish, and fixture selection and construction management of the 2023 Ideal Home for the Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association and earning her home builder license in 2025. In addition to her professional work, she is actively involved in the community, helping form the Young Professionals Committee for the Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association and serving as a board member of the Montgomery Auburn Club, raising funds for scholarships supporting local students.
Key to Success: I am goal-oriented and focus on weekly tasks supporting my long-term objectives. As a new mom, I am organized and intentional about prioritizing my time, balancing responsibilities at work and home while upholding our company’s core values of faith, family, attitude and effort, teamwork, and innovation.

Childhood Aspirations: From a young age, I was drawn to color and space, painting walls and rearranging furniture throughout my childhood. My early experiences designing spaces in my home sparked my passion for interior design, and visiting Auburn University solidified my path.
First Job: While babysitting in high school, my first professional role was as a receptionist at Inline Lighting in Auburn, supporting the design team by entering orders, preparing selection booklets, and managing front office communications.
Best Advice: My dad always says you can control two things in life: your attitude and your effort.
Biggest Influence Personally & Professionally: My father, whose work in the home building industry exposed me to design, construction, and meaningful spaces from an early age. He encouraged me to keep learning and inspired me to earn my home builder license.
