Cynthia Faurote is the co-owner and CFO of Better Life Cleaning Services LLC, an exterior and window cleaning company she co-founded with her husband in 2024. She is also a licensed Realtor® and property manager with Vida Property Management, a career she began in 2023, and has worked as a data analyst at Hodges Warehouse and Logistics since earning her master’s degree in 2019. In her role at Better Life Cleaning Services, Faurote focuses on business development and manages all accounting and financial operations, while her husband oversees day-to-day field operations.
As a Realtor® and property manager, she assists buyers and sellers, works closely with renters and real estate investors, helps tenants find homes that fit their needs, and supports owners with leasing, property oversight, and long-term investment success. As a data analyst, she uses data and analytical insights to support operational decision-making and improve efficiency.
Faurote considers co-founding Better Life Cleaning Services with her husband her greatest career accomplishment, describing it as a leap of faith that grew into a thriving company built on shared values, professionalism, and service to the community. Community involvement for Faurote begins on a personal level. She serves at her church when opportunities arise and believes in helping where there is a real and meaningful need, valuing impact over visibility.
Key to Success: My key to success has been discipline, persistence, and clarity of purpose. I work hard, stay consistent, and don’t give up when challenges arise. I also believe that faith provides direction and perspective, allowing me to make decisions with confidence rather than fear. Strong support—especially from my husband—has been essential in staying focused, grounded, and resilient while building my businesses.
Guilty Pleasure: My guilty pleasure is staying up too late watching a good show while enjoying comfort food and dessert—fully knowing I’ll probably regret it the next morning.
High School Superlative: We didn’t have superlatives at my high school in China, but I was definitely “Most Likely to Be Busy”—which is still true today.
Childhood Aspirations: I wanted to be the boss—long before I knew what that actually meant.
First Job: Data Analyst.
Best Advice: Someone once told me, “If you’re willing to work harder than your fear, you’ll always find a way forward.” That mindset changed everything for me.
Biggest Influence Personally & Professionally: The biggest influence on my personal and career growth has been a combination of example and partnership. Watching my parents work incredibly hard instilled a strong work ethic from an early age. Today, my husband is my greatest influence—both personally and professionally. As a business owner and entrepreneur, he challenges me to think bigger, push past my comfort zone, and stay resilient. His support and belief in me have helped me work through fear and stay grounded when things get tough.
