Katherine Gray serves as Operations Manager at Warren Averett, where she has been a key part of the firm since 2013. In her role, Gray oversees the administrative operations of the Warren Averett Technology Group, focusing on maximizing profitability, streamlining internal processes, building strong vendor partnerships, and driving operational excellence across the business.
One of Gray’s most meaningful career milestones came when she identified and advocated for her “right seat” within the organization. By recognizing her core strengths and championing a role that allowed her to fully leverage them, she transformed her career path from simply holding a job to building systems, teams, and a career she genuinely loves—while creating greater value for the firm along the way.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Gray is actively involved in the technology community through her volunteer work with the Global Technology Industry Association (GTIA). As vice chair of the Global Women in Tech interest group, she helps advocate for and create opportunities for women entering and advancing within technology fields.
Gray’s leadership philosophy centers on trust, guided by her belief that “no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.” She sees trust as the foundation of lasting success—something that cannot be replicated and must be earned through genuine relationships. Outside of work, she enjoys iced coffee year-round and credits her current boss, Emily, as the greatest influence on her personal and professional growth, citing her leadership and mentorship as instrumental in shaping her career.
