Sidney Carol Barnhardt handles all of the marketing efforts and event planning for The Shoppes at Eastchase. She loves creating events where families and friends can come together to make forever memories whether it is a movie on the green space, a pop-up event or a concert series. Key to Success: Relationships are everything. In every job I have had, being intentional in building and maintaining relationships has always been the root of the work. I attribute our success to those relationships with our tenants, small business owners, community leaders, and partners. It truly makes a difference in the way we market because we are partnered with friends!

Childhood Aspirations: I wanted to be a fashion designer. I like to believe I’m still on track since I’m working in fashion and retail, right?

First Job: I worked as a Hannah Montana impersonator for a local party place in my hometown, Dothan, AL at 13!

Best Advice: In true “me” fashion, there is a quote/piece of advice from Taylor Swift that has always resonated with me. “Never be ashamed of trying. Effortlessness is a myth.”

Biggest Influence Personally & Professionally: Hands down all the women in my life. Whether it be my family, friends, or professional relationships and connections, I wouldn’t be who I am today if it weren’t for the strong women who went before me, and who are beside me now! I strive to make those women and my younger self proud every single day!
