Tiffany Fitzgerald

United States Air Force under the Department of War

Tiffany Fitzgerald serves as a Capability Delivery Manager (Lead Program Manager) for the United States Air Force under the Department of War, a role she has held since March 2022. In her position, Fitzgerald leads acquisition planning, execution, and customer relations for a multi-million-dollar agile software family of management information systems. She oversees a 40+ member team of military personnel, civilians, and contractors who deliver critical support to base civil engineering operations, providing commanders and managers—both internal and external to the civil engineer community—with timely, accurate information for peace and wartime decision-making.

Among Fitzgerald’s most meaningful career highlights are the opportunities to work on Air Force One and to contribute to the same weapon systems as both her grandfather and brother—an experience that carries deep professional and personal significance. Her commitment to service extends well beyond her career. She serves as National Programs and Community Service Chair for the Beta Sigma Graduate Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., where she has helped lead initiatives such as Swim 1922, providing lifesaving water safety skills to youth in Montgomery, and Project Cradle Care, which delivers baby baskets annually to local hospitals. Fitzgerald is also a 2025–2026 provisional member of the Junior League of Montgomery and volunteers with organizations including HandsOn River Region and Fresh Greens Market to support families in need.

Key to Success: I’ve gotten comfortable with being uncomfortable. Something may be hard because it’s unfamiliar, but not because I am incapable. I’m a person of faith, and when I’m hesitant about stepping into something new, I often reflect on Esther 4:14. Discomfort usually means an opportunity to grow.

Guilty Pleasure: Beyoncé and sweets.

Childhood Aspirations: Pediatrician.

First Job: Working at the library.

Best Advice: I am responsible for my own happiness and joy.

Biggest Influence Personally & Professionally: I was raised by parents who taught me to speak up and boldly chase what I want to pursue. Throughout my career, mentors and supervisors have consistently encouraged, challenged, and advocated for me—even in rooms where I may not have otherwise had a seat.
