Since joining the team in October 2015, Rhodes has focused on strategic leadership, community development and maintaining the standards of integrity, quality and long-term value that define Lowder New Homes.

A career highlight for Rhodes was serving as President of the Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association in 2025. In that role, he helped launch the Auburn University NAHB Student Chapter and supported initiatives that raised over $90,000 for the PAC fund, investing in the future workforce and legislative advocacy of the homebuilding industry.

Community Involvement: Rhodes is deeply engaged in his community through Trinity Presbyterian Church, where he helps serve pregame meals to the Carver High School football team. He supports workforce development initiatives through the Home Builders Association, volunteers with Mercy House and coaches his two sons’ youth sports teams.

Key to Success: Consistent hard work, accountability and a commitment to showing up every day and doing things the right way.

Guilty Pleasure: Turkey hunting—catching sunrise in the woods is his go-to way to relax when not with family or at work.

Childhood Ambition: Surrounded by family in the homebuilding industry, Rhodes always wanted to be a homebuilder.

First Job: Cleaning newly constructed homes for his uncles, learning early lessons in attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.

Best Advice: “Everyone puts their pants on one leg at a time”—a reminder to treat everyone with humility and respect.

Biggest Influence: His grandfather, owner of Excelsior Brick Company, whose work ethic, discipline and high expectations shaped William’s personal and professional growth.
