Chase Chambliss

Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager at River Bank & Trust

Chase Chambliss is responsible for growing new business and individual customers for the bank. He also works with existing business and individual customers to help ensure they are getting the financial expertise and tools they need. When the economy shut down and the government rolled out the Payment Protection Plan (PPP), he was heavily involved in implementing the program and successfully meeting customer needs. He has been involved in a number of community-related organizations and served on various committees through River Region United Way. He was President of the Montgomery Auburn Club, Chairman of the Montgomery YMCA Boys Work Committee, and even taught financial literacy to elementary school children.


Key to Success: In my opinion, success comes from many things. It starts with putting in effort and caring about the task at hand. Be willing to do things that aren’t in your job description and use your brain. Think ahead and anticipate what’s coming next.


Guilty Pleasure: Dessert


Childhood Aspirations: I wanted to be a commercial airline pilot or an attorney.


First Job: Working for my Dad’s business when I was 13 years old. It was a dirty job in the middle of the summer that mainly included cleaning out dirty oil tanks and pits, loading and unloading fuel trucks, and cleaning warehouses, but it is where I developed a good work ethic.


Best Advice: “Be willing to put in the work that others are not willing to do.”


Biggest Influence Personally & Professionally: I have been fortunate to have a number of people throughout my career that I can look up to and learn from. I have learned that surrounding yourself with people who are uplifting, have the similar values, and a good work ethic will take you far in your career.
